May's Round Up

Life's gotten busy after starting work and there's so much I have not catch up on on Youtube and the other K-shows and PLL. Including blogging as well, time to record down what I did for the past 1 month+ heh heh. Probably will be a very long post.

So after the USS adventure with my girls, I took up an event job for Herbalife at Expo. That past 4 days was tiring but fun with meeting new people, making friends, seeing all the people coming from different parts of the world and having some eyecandies to look at. Met one really nice looking Korean guy and the he smiled at me and helped me out a little with the language barrier thing! Hahahs, damn was it cool. Oh and not forgetting taking a photo with random strangers. Hope it won't have some sort of repercussions :x

The super nice people I worked with, hehes!(:

Next, met up with YC for a short dinner at Manhattan Fish Market. They have this "Unplug" Box which encourage people to put their phone in the box for the entire meal period so that they can focus on interacting with the people they are with instead of checking their phone frequently and neglecting the person they are dining with. Felt it was a good way to make people talk more face to face rather than over a phone and bridge the distance that technology creates sometimes. Then at the end of meal will get $5 MFM voucher, however can only use one per table/bill and for ala carte main dish only. So...yeah. Hahahas. Good experience to try it out though but to dine again there i will have second thoughts cos customer service kinda dropped a lot now:/  Anyway, had a good catching up with her and hahas now seeing her in office everyday(:

Watched Filial Piety with Mum on one of the weekdays, really meaningful movie and cried at the end. Must be more filial to parents and cherish them. After that movie felt very guilty for not treating them better and provide more support for them. Hopefully I can do better when I start earning income. My goal is to give them a good life, please let it happen in the near future.

Had the SsikSin Korean Buffet with fellow friends after working hard for the event to reward ourselves. Always a good company to eat with and sharing jokes over the table. Thanks girls!^^
Later that night met up with SKYH for dinner. Had a very full dinner and as always feels good to see them after so long.

A lunch date with 8ights at iSteaks, menu concept similar to Astons, the chicken taste much better and a bit bigger than Astons but side dishes Astons still win. Haha. Spend another part of the day at Chillax Cafe and talked the whole day. Amazed we all can just sit there and talk for so long. Guessed we were all tired from work and other stuff. Finally the day where all of us were present, it was nice to see everyone again so always comfortable to have them for company.

HAHAHA, took many photos so putting those best ones in gif format. Thanks for meeting up! (:

Then came the next important day--Graduation. Surviving poly life is not easy but really glad I got into TP and made some really wonderful friends, group projects had its ups and downs but it taught me so much on teamwork, communication, productivity and leadership. Most importantly,  I think I have grown to become a bit braver in speaking out after the countless presentations and to get participation points. Hahahas. More I can do to improve on, and another hope that university life will be another good and smooth journey to get through.

Major love for the bouquet Mum and Dad bought for me, the biggest thanks to them for supporting me throughout :D

The day was super crowded and stuffy, regretted not taking more photos with other good friends but wishing them all the best for their future and maybe meetup someday. Okay I sound like it is gonna be a farewell forever. My sweet girls put in so much effort to made the graduation cards, gifts, and the muffin which I had eaten it already. Extremely grateful to have them in my life and getting to know them. Thank you to the friendships forged and meeting all the friendly tutors, lecturers and classmates.  It had been a fun ride!~

Tried Teo Heng KTV for the first time, missing out Kelly. Not really soundproof walls, nor user-friendly for choosing song system but very much cheap and good service! Had a good singing session and ended with Katong Laska and Putu Piring for dinner. Hehes.

That's it for May 2014! Can't believe so much has happened and I can also have such a active social life cos usually I just like being inside my shell. XD

Okay, moving on to June...

#24

A short session of bracelet making with Sylvia, this girl seriously have talent and sooooo professional. I still have a long way to go heh heh. Anyway, thank you for inviting me over and sharing your materials with me! Hehes!(:

Went for a tour around the local universities, ok maybe only that 2 main ones to get a feel of the travelling journey and school environment. The least favourite part was getting bitten by mosquitoes. That aside, it was quite enjoyable and the area taken up by the universities no doubt were really huge.

A little cafe hopping trip to Canopy Cafe at Bishan Park for brunch. We tried few of their signature dishes of the cafe and yes they were very much tasty and fresh but nothing out of the ordinary.

Since grub was closed for that day (disappointed), we went to Backstage Cafe to try since SY was gonna collect her graduation gown around that area. They got some lunch promotion set meals for ladies so decided to try it out. Food was quite standard as well. Surprisingly the cafe was quite big so definitely a good space to chill and just talk about anything. (:

Some bonding time with the girls when we went to USS. Sat for most of the rides, and once again screaming hysterically on roller coaster rides. Never gets old. I wonder why people can just ride it as though they are just cruising through in a car and remain expressionless.

Its was a really warm day, perspiring all the way but had wonderful time with them nevertheless! Thank you girls!^^

Honestly dunno is it because I'm too picky or did not do my best to find a good job to work for this period of time which led to me lazing away at home while the rest of my friends are working hard. Plus all the days I have to block out makes it very inflexible. Only type of jobs I can take up is only those temporary promoting jobs or as service crews:/ Can I commit to those type of working environment? Over thinking everything makes it worse. Sigh.
