The Little Things-School, Family & Friends

So school finally starts, it was a start of a good week, meeting my new classmates, tutors and secondary school friends. Projects already begin, gonna get really busy soon enough. Life of a Poly student~

Luckily I still get to meet up with Kel and YX for lunch and lectures so it wasn't too bad^^

Now I hope time will pass faster and I'll be able to do well this semester... with 2 PBLs project, 2 "normal" projects and other stuff.

Volunteered to help out in the school event for Bone Marrow Donors, basically to encourage people to become a bone marrow donor. Its actually really sad that to find a perfect match, to save a life, is a 1 in 20,000 chance. Sadly I can't be a donor yet because of disapproval but so glad a lot of people in our school did it, every donor counts yes?

For more details please do go to BMDP to find out more and if you are interested to become a bone marrow donor. Thank you so much if you did become!(:

Anyway, get to see my usual fave girls on Thursday for dinner at BBQ Chicken restaurant, had a great time chatting and laughing out loud literally and a mini birthday celebration for SY(: They never fail to brighten up my day and keep me sane. Hahas!Thankful for this friendship.
Our fruity soda drinks and 1 Oreo cookies milkshake. (i think)
Kel's Fish and chips (Not too sure the exact name?)
My and others, Seafood Aglio Olio.
SY Olive Chicken Rice (Not sure the exact name too, hees :X)

And since I received my pay, spent the holiday to treat my parents a good meal in a Japanese restaurant at Nex. Went for a shopping trip together after that too. Hehes, I love the smiles on their faces and able to give them something for what they done for me. Hoping for more of this moments to come in the future:D

30% off Etude House products, went to get some stocks before it ends today, so glad I decided to buy, heh.
Hope their membership programme will start again soon~

Alright, shall end here with a good note. Off for a cosy sleep before tomorrow's morning class(sad)!^^

Have an awesome week everyone!

The Little Things- End and Begin

Hello! So I ended my holiday job on Wed, kinda love-hate it, typical me. But so very grateful for all the nice colleagues and acquaintances made^^ Now, waiting for the pay to come before I go on a little shopping spree. Seeing some online shops with sales going on and Cotton On too, seriously can't resist~

Went for haircut too, like finally. Initially wanted to grow out my bangs but I'm too impatient to wait so its back where I started again. Feels lighter too while washing hair. Sadly colour dye faded...should I dye again?:/

Oh and a BIG thank you to LASplash for the contest prize!Hehes, so much green glitters!
I gotten a mascara, eye sparkle, body sparkle and pencil eyeliner(:
Tried the green eyeliner, there's some shimmer in it, colour pay off is quite light but glides on smoothly on my lids so thumbs up for that!
Another new semester and new class from tomorrow onwards. Really don't know what to expect but am praying for friendly and helpful tutors and classmates. Heh.

Wouldn't Earth be a better place if everyone could get along, be nice to each other? Just another wishful thinking...or maybe it does exist on another parallel universe.

Been listening to a lot of good music and watching another anime called Ouran High School Host Club, quite hilarious and happy show^^

Hopefully tomorrow will start on the right path.

Have a good week everyone!

The Little Things- USS Trip!

This week was quite eventful for me!

Can't believe that I managed to borrow my sequel books at Compass Point again on Tuesday! So happy with it, wished could borrow more, hehes! Hopefully will finish reading them all in time:D

Wednesday was my trip to Universal Studios Singapore with YX, technically not my first time there but first time get to play almost all the rides, hees.

Super thankful to her for that day and making this trip absolutely fun!Fave ride there was Transformers!Tried all the rest and indoor roller coasters, Ferris wheel, water rides. Most frightening for me was the roller coasters, even though its a smaller version of the Battlestar Galactica, I really got the shock of my life. Also first time I really actually scream. Gosh, so embarrassed.

While the other people riding with me were like so steady and as though they were taking a car ride-.-

& this YX still laugh at me while I screamed.LOL, come to think of it, it was kinda a funny moment.Hahahas!

The Waterworld performance was fantastic too, so lucky that the performer sat beside me,hehes and get to see the fake airplane land in front of me. Splashed with tons of water, heh.

Thank God the weather remain sunny throughout the day!
Hope will get a chance to watch this too when it opens!

Queuing for Transformers!
Sad we didn't get to take photos with all the mascots, but able to see some were already lucky!^^

Muhahahas, me pushing the boxes, see how strong I am?;)

Shrek's...toilet.
Didn't know Shrek's actually this big.

Lunch was...expensive. $12 for this satay combo set excluding drinks. But, food was yummy enough so I guess its okay.

Back out of this last ride, really no courage. Sorry YX!But she had fun, hehes!

Daddy O's performance!

Caught the Monster Rock concert too!So musically wonderful!(:

It was really fun getting the chance to go there and enjoy the place, felt like I step into another world. Couldn't ask for more! Again, am grateful for YX's company throughout, letting me hold her hands while I'm scared on the rides, being so ever patient and caring. Hehes!A well day spent!:D

Worked for the past 2 days as telemarketer, also met a really nice girl named Sam. Felt like we can talk about almost anything, from fascinating stuff like collective thoughts, spiritual things to political, earth ship, natal charts and gossips. Wow, like she opened up a whole new world to me in such a short time and learnt so so much from her. Extremely insightful and inspiring.

Thank you Sam for all the things shared and time spent together! It was really nice knowing her! Really hope she will live a blissful and happy life in Brazil(:

Grandpa's Birthday today!Yay, gonna have a spread of tasty dishes of food again~

This week was like a week of discovering new things, soooooooo contented and just happy somehow!Cannot contain my happiness, lol.

Have a great week ahead!^^

The Little Things- Movie Date, Gardens by the Bay!

Spent a lazy Wednesday at YX's house for initially a movie marathon with horror genre and other 2 less scary movies but only managed to complete watching the horror one and we got tired. Movie kinda freak me out cos mind just kept replaying the really gross/scary scenes over and over again:(

Anyway Domino's pizzas for lunch! Pizzas were amazingggggg, by choosing our own crust, which was really thin, toppings were delicious too~

Not forgetting the garlic bread with a hint of curry scent and taste, dipped with BBQ sauce, heavenly!Lol.

Friday went out with Mum to Gardens by the Bay, visited 2 conservatories, took tons of pretty pictures. Mostly of flowers cos they were just so pretty and colourful! Can't resist, hehes!

At the front of the Gardens!

Tickets to both conservatories~

First place visited was Flower Dome, breathtaking view seriously, super fresh air and a lot of flowers!
Love love daisies!^^

There will be some statues at some parts of the plants, heh. Here's one of them.

My adorable mum,hahahas!

I believe they were real pumpkins.
The flower garden at the base level, with all the straws/hay bunnies and scarecrows!

Different Catus from large to small, some looked like they survived in deserts and brought to here. heh.

Finally, my fave place of the whole attraction, Cloud Forest with the magnificent artificial/man-made waterfall, around 7-storey high! Mind blown and love how the sprinkles of water blew my way, just something really serene standing beside it!Love it! I think I can stand there for hours looking at it. :D

However, not much of flowers there, mostly other types of leafy plants, getting to know more about Earth vegetation, water areas etc.

Went behind the waterfall, was afraid I would fall when taking this.

Crystals exhibition at another level.

Went with mum to walk this Skywalk i think that's what it was called, around 6-7 storey high, with drain holes on the path, was a nice experience, looking down from there, though mum was a tad afraid. But we managed to walk the whole thing so yay!^^ It was fun!

Oh and those smokes are actually sprinklers to water the unreachable plants, hehes.

Crystals too!

Another mini fall.

And that completes the trip to GBTB! It was fruitful and really impressive scenery! Just indulged in that peacful feeling there, away from all the stress and bustling city, was a really nice change^^

Do go if you have not done so!Definitely won't regrets!

Thankful for this trip with darest mummy!Wished daddy could joined:(
That's probably one sad thing oh and it drizzle for awhile so could not finish exploring the outdoor gardens.

Hopefully there will be another chance to go there again with whole family!(:
